V této bakalářské práci se věnuji problematice příjmu potravy u nesoběstačných pacientů. V rámci bakalářské práce jsem si dávala za cíl zjistit, jak sestry provádějí nutriční screening u nesoběstačných pacientů. Dále jsem chtěla zjistit, jak sestry saturují potřeby výživy u nesoběstačných pacientů. A v poslední řadě jsem chtěla zjistit, jakých nejčastějších chyb se sestry dopouštějí při podávání stravy nesoběstačným pacientům. Empirickou část bakalářské práce jsem zpracovala metodou kvalitativního výzkumu. Jako techniku sběru dat jsem zvolila polostrukturované rozhovory, které byly realizovány s deseti sestrami z oddělení následné péče ve vybrané Jihočeské nemocnici. Rozhovory jsem také doplnila o přímé a zúčastněné pozorování. Na základě výzkumu jsem zjistila, že se sestry s problematikou příjmu potravy u nesoběstačných pacientů setkávají. Potvrdily, že nutriční screening u těchto pacientů provádí. Stejně tak potvrdily, že se u nesoběstačných pacientů snaží co nejlépe zajistit jejich příjem potravy a dostatek živin, které potřebují. Většina sester dále uvedla, že se snaží o zvýšení soběstačnosti těchto pacientů. Samozřejmě byly zjištěny i určité chyby, kterých se sestry při zajišťování příjmu potravy dopouštějí. Mezi nejčastější chybu patřilo nerespektování rychlosti pacienta pro příjem potravy. Výsledky mého výzkumu mohou sloužit jako podnět k dalšímu, podrobnějšímu zkoumání nebo ke zkoumání jiné problematiky vycházející z mé práce. Dále mohou výsledky posloužit všem sestrám pracujícím na kterémkoli oddělení, kde se setkají s nesoběstačnými pacienty, kterým je potřeba zajistit dostatečný příjem potravy. Kromě toho mohou výsledky posloužit jako studijní materiál pro studenty zdravotnických oborů. This bachelor thesis focuses on problems of food intake in non-self-sufficient patients. The aim of the thesis was to find out how nurses conduct nutritional screening for non-self-sufficient patients. Additionally, I wanted to determine how nurses meet the nutritional needs of non-self-sufficient patients. Lastly, I aimed to identify the most common mistakes nurses make when feeding non-self-sufficient patients. The empirical part of the bachelor thesis was processed using the qualitative research methods. The semi-structured interviews were chosen as a data collection technique. They were conducted by ten nurses from the aftercare department in a selected hospital in the South Bohemian Region. The interviews were also supplemented by direct and participant observation. Based on the research, I found that nurses encounter issues with food intake in non-self-sufficient patients. Confirmed that they conduct nutritional screening for these patients. They also confirmed that they strive to ensure the best possible food intake and sufficient nutrients for non-self-sufficient patients. The most respondent nurses further confirmed that they try to increase the self-sufficiency of these patients. Evidently, there were also identified some certain mistakes were, which nurses make when they ensure food intake. The most common mistake was not respecting the patient's pace of food intake. The results of my research can serve as a stimulus for further, more detailed research or for exploring other issues based on my work. The results can serve all nurses working in any department where they encounter non-self-sufficient patients who need to ensure sufficient food intake. Additionally, the results can serve as a study material for students of health-related fields.
