Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou managementu ve sportovní organizaci, konkrétně v atletickém oddílu T.J. Sokol České Budějovice. Práce se zaměřuje na hodnocení současného stavu řízení oddílu, který se věnuje zejména sportovní přípravě dětí a mládeže do 15 let. Cílem práce je identifikovat silné a slabé stránky fungování oddílu, zhodnotit jeho vnitřní organizaci a navrhnout doporučení vedoucí ke zvýšení efektivity a kvality řízení.
Teoretická část práce vychází z odborné literatury v oblasti managementu, sportovního managementu, personálního řízení, motivace a komunikace. Praktická část je založena na kvalitativním i kvantitativním sběru dat. Byly realizovány rozhovory s předsedou a hospodářkou oddílu a dotazníkové šetření mezi rodiči dětí, které se tréninků účastní. Do šetření se zapojilo 90 respondentů z řad zákonných zástupců, což představuje návratnost přes 51 %.
Výsledky ukázaly, že oddíl má dobře fungující vnitřní komunikaci, přátelskou atmosféru a otevřený přístup vedení ke zpětné vazbě. Zároveň byly identifikovány oblasti, které vykazují potenciál ke zlepšení - zejména systematizace řízení, formální plánování, motivace trenérů a efektivnější zapojení rodičů. Práce přináší konkrétní návrhy opatření, jejichž implementace by mohla přispět k dalšímu rozvoji oddílu. Přínosem práce je nabídnutí praktických podkladů pro rozhodování vedení oddílu i inspirace pro jiné sportovní organizace podobného charakteru. This bachelor thesis focuses on the issue of management in a sports organization, specifically in the athletics section of T.J. Sokol České Budějovice. The thesis aims to assess the current state of management in the club, which is primarily engaged in the sports training of children and youth under the age of 15. The main goal is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the club's operations, evaluate its internal organization, and propose recommendations that could contribute to improving the effectiveness and quality of its management.
The theoretical part of the thesis is based on academic literature in the fields of management, sports management, human resource management, motivation, and communication. The practical part is built on both qualitative and quantitative data collection. Interviews were conducted with the chairman and treasurer of the club, and a questionnaire survey was carried out among parents of children participating in the training sessions. A total of 90 respondents participated in the survey, which corresponds to a response rate of over 51 %.
The results showed that the club has well-functioning internal communication, a friendly atmosphere, and an open approach from the management to feedback. At the same time, several areas with potential for improvement were identified - particularly the systematization of management, formal planning, coach motivation, and more effective involvement of parents. The thesis presents specific proposals whose implementation could contribute to the further development of the club. The practical benefit of the thesis lies in offering useful materials for the decision-making of the club's management as well as inspiration for other sports organizations of a similar nature.
