Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhem a realizací funkčního prototypu odpočivného křesla určeného do privátního interiéru a dělí se na dvě části – teoretickou a praktickou. Samotnému procesu navrhování předchází teoretická část, která se zabývá historií, ergonomií, typologií a základními požadavky sedacího nábytku se zaměřením na odpočivná křesla. Závěr teoretické části se věnuje použitým materiálům a výrobním technologiím. Praktická část začíná rešerší odpočivných křesel a dále popisuje postup navrhování odpočivného křesla s důrazem na funkčnost, estetické působení a výrobu. Výstupem práce je funkční model odpočivného křesla v měřítku 1:1. This diploma thesis focuses on designing and manufacturing a prototype of a resting armchair for residential interiors. It is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The design process is preceded by a theoretical section focusing on the history, ergonomics, typology, and basic requirements of seating furniture, with a particular emphasis on resting armchairs. The conclusion of the theoretical part discusses the materials used and manufacturing technologies. The practical section begins with research on resting armchairs and further describes the process of designing a resting armchair, emphasizing functionality, aesthetics, and production. The outcome of the thesis is a functional model of a resting armchair at a 1:1 scale.
