Práce představuje teoretický základ, který se vztahuje k problematice účetního systému v České republice a Rakousku a poukazuje na účetní zásady se zaměřením na rozdíly a podobnosti mezi nimi. Představuje proces fakturace a analyzuje dodavatelsko-odběratelské vztahy ve vybrané společnosti. Tyto teoretické poznatky jsou dále aplikovány v analytické části, která prezentuje data poskytnutá vybranou společností. Analytická část obsahuje charakteristiku vybrané společnosti a srovnání účetního systému v ČR a Rakousku se zaměřením na proces fakturace. Práce analyzuje zpracování faktur v rakouském účetním softwaru BMD, jeho výhody a nevýhody a předkládá návrhy na možná zlepšení v oblasti zpracování faktur. This study explores the theoretical foundations concerning accounting systems in the Czech Republic and Austria. It emphasizes the main accounting principles in this two states and highlights differences and similarities between this two accounting sys-tems. The study delves into the invoicing process and then examines supplier-customer relationships within a chosen company. These theoretical insights are then practically applied in an analytical section featuring data from the selected company. This analysis includes the company's characteristics and a comparative study of the accounting system processes in the Czech Republic and Austria, particularly focusing on invoicing procedures. Moreover, the thesis scrutinizes the invoicing procedures within the Austrian BMD accounting software, outlining its advantages and disad-vantages. This part also proposes potential enhancements for invoice processing.
