Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá studiem pobytových střešních zahrad, jejich vývojem od dob modernismu až po současnost. Literární část objasňuje okolnosti vzniku těchto forem zahrad. Zaměřuje se také na práci architekta Le Corbusiera, který se velkou měrou podílel na jejich vývoji. K nastínění současné problematiky jsou v práci dále uvedeny příklady současných realizací veřejně přístupných i soukromých střešních zahrad. Práce se také dotýká tématu nebe, které je s touto prací spjato. Na uvedených příkladech je zřejmé různé pojetí vyvýšených zahrad, vždy je však pojí to, že dokáží v návštěvníkovi či majiteli vyvolat pocit, že se ocitli blíže k nebi. Obsahem druhé části práce je prezentace studie řešení střešních zahrad na modelovém příkladu dvou střešních teras nákupního centra Karolina v Ostravě. Práce si klade za cíl prostřednictvím návrhu a literární části vyzdvihnout výhody střešních zahrad ve všech jejich formách a poukázat na možnosti ztvárnění těchto zahradně-architektonických forem. This bachelor thesis deal with residential roof gardens, with their evolution from the days of modernism to the present. Literary section explains the circumstances of formation these forms gardens. It also focuses on the work of architect Le Corbusier, who was very much involved in their progression. Examples of current realizations of roof gardens open to public and private are showed to outline of the current problems. The work also touches the theme of the sky, which is connected with this work. In all of these examples, it is clear the different conceptions raised gardens, which have in common that they can evoke feeling in the visitor or the owners that they are closer to heaven. The content of second part of the work is the presentation of the study roof gardens on a model example of two roof terraces shopping centre Karolina in Ostrava. The work aims through design and literary part to highlight the benefits of rooftop gardens in all their forms and point to the possibility of creating these garden-architectural forms.
