Významnou součástí veřejné zeleně ve městě jsou parky. Park plní mnoho významných funkcí, mezi které patří funkce klimatická, hygienická, rekreační, ekonomická, ekologická, společenská a další. Ve své práci hodnotím dva parky v Jihlavě, které se jmenují Park M. R. Štefánika a Park Legionářů. Mým cílem je v parcích zhodnotit zeleň a navrhnout revitalizaci parků, kterou by město mohlo zrealizovat. Zásadní pro moji práci je hodnocení dřevin a doporučení jejich ošetření, kácení a návrh nových výsadeb. V současné době klimatických změn jsou parky a vzrostlé stromy v nich velmi významné pro život ve městě. Je nutné vážit si parků a zodpovědně o ně pečovat, abychom je mohli předat dalším generacím. Parks are an important part of the public greenery in the city. Park carries out many important functions, including climatic, hygienic, recreational, economic, ecological, social and other. In my thesis, I have focused on evaluating two parks situated in Jihlava, which are called Park M. R. Štefánika and Park Legionářů. My goal is to evaluate the greenery in the parks and propose revitalization of these parks, which the city could realize. Essential for my work is the evaluation of woody plants and ornamental trees and shrubs and recommendations for their treatment, felling and design of new plantings. At present time of climate change, parks and full-grown trees in them are very important for city life. It is necessary to respect parks and take care of them responsibly so that we can pass them on to future generations.
