Diplomová práce se prostřednictvím deskriptivní a komparativní metody zabý-vá zhodnocením výkrmnosti limousinských býků v porovnání s výkrmností býků ple-mene charolais, aberdeen angus, masný simentál a piemontese v podmínkách České republiky. Cílem této práce je především posouzení přírůstků u býků vybraných ple-men zařazených do testace plemenných býků v České republice. Samotná literární část přibližuje historii a charakteristiku jednotlivých plemen a poukazuje na výjimečnosti u každého z nich. Dále je přiblížena i problematika dvojitého osvalení, které ve šlechtění skotu nabývá na popularitě. Hodnoceny byly růstové schopnosti býčků, a to konkrétně hmotnost ve 120, 210 a 365 dnech, výška v kříži dosažena ve 365 dni a přírůstek z hodnot odchoven v rámci České republiky a hodnoty byly porovnány v rámci let 2017, 2018 a 2019. V diplomové práci byla potvrzena rozdílnost mezi plemeny, kdy největší vliv měla na experiment ranost a rámec jednotlivých plemen. Veškeré hodnoty i přes kolí-savou tendenci byly v rámci standardu jednotlivých plemen. The thesis deals with the evaluation of fattening of Limousin bulls in compari-son with the fattening of bulls of the breed Charolais, Aberdeen Angus, Simmental breed and Piedmontese in the conditions of the Czech Republic by means of a descrip-tive and comparative method. The aim of this work is mainly to assess the increments of bulls of selected breeds included in the testing of breeding bulls in the Czech Re-public. The literary part itself introduces the history and characteristics of individual breeds and points out the uniqueness of each of them. Furthermore, the issue of double approval is approached, which is gaining in popularity in cattle breeding. The growth abilities of bulls were evaluated, namely weight in 120, 210 and 365 days, height in the cross reached in 365 days and increase from the values of breeding farms in the Czech Republic and the values were compared in 2017, 2018 and 2019. The diploma thesis confirmed the difference between the breeds, where the greatest influence on the experiment had the earlyness and the framework of individu-al breeds. All values, despite the fluctuating tendency, were within the standard of in-dividual breeds.
