Práce se zabývá problematikou stolů určených na hraní společenských deskových her. V práci se na zmíněné téma pohlíží z více stran. Teoretické kapitoly se věnují historii nábytku určeného ke hraní, a také historii deskových her samotných. Dále tato práce uvádí průzkum současného trhu s deskovými hrami. Výsledkem této práce je po zhodnocení všech relevantních kritérií a načerpaných informací následné navržení a výroba prototypu stolu na hraní deskových her. The thesis deals with the problematics concerning tables intended for playing board games. It examines the subject from several different perspectives. It provides a concise insight into the history of furniture designed specifically for playing board or tabletop games, yet it also explores the history of board games in themselves. Furthermore, the thesis offers a survey into the current board game industry. The aim of the present work is to evaluate and produce a prototype of a unique table for playing board games after evaluating all relevant criteria and gained information.
