Presbytář a hlavní loď chrámu Ochrany Přesvaté Bohorodičky v Hunkovcích byly datovány do 1662/1663, stejné konstrukce v chrámu Ochrany Panny Marie v Mirol’e do období 1672–1676. Většina dřevěných konstrukcí u ostatních dřevěných chrámů byla datována do 18. století, přičemž bylo odhaleno několik významných stavebních rekonstrukcí. Nejmladší přestavba byla prokázána u chrámu svaté Paraskevy v Dobroslavě, kdy koncem druhé světové války (1945) došlo k zásadní změně půdorysu celé stavby. Výsledky datování potvrdily či rozšířily historické informace o zkoumaných objektech. S ohledem na vysokou úspěšnost datování jednotlivých vzorků bylo možné vytvořit regionální jedlovou standardní chronologii, která pokrývá období 1456–1854 a 1883–1943.Sacred wooden buildings are the most characteristic cultural monuments of the Carpathian Ruthenia mountain area. However, the majority of information about construction date of the churches or significant reconstructions remains unclear. Therefore, the main objective of this thesis is the north-eastern Slovakia. Dendrochronological dating confirmed or expanded the historical information that we had about these objects. Dendrochronological dating was performed on seven wooden churches in the Svidník region, in which were mostly log wooden churches. In total, 55 samples have been taken by the Pressler increment borer and 33 high-resolution photos by a camera. Anatomical identification of wood samples proved that the majority of samples was from fir wood (68 samples). Less frequent was spruce wood, beech wood or poplar wood. The dendrochronological dating also proved that the oldest construction elements were found in the temple of St. Michael the Archangel in Šemetkovce. The temple's main nave beams were dated to the 16th century. The second oldest dated church is the temple of the protection of the Blessed Virgin in Hunkovce where the beams of the presbytery and the nave were dated to the turn of the years 1662 and 1663. The temple of the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Mirol’a also has a couple of wooden construction elements that were dated to the years from 1672 to 1676. However, the majority of wood used to build wooden temples was dated to the 18th century. Dendrochronological dating also revealed several reconstructions. For example, it was proved by dendrochronological dating that the temple of holy Paraskeva in Dobroslava was reconstructed at the end of world war two in 1945 in which the reconstruction fundamentally changed the floor plan of the building. Given the high success rate of dendrochronological dating a regional fir tree-ring width chronology covering the periods from 1456 to 1854 and 1883 to 1943 was compiled.
