Práce se věnuje tématu turismu na Filipínách se zaměřením na české návštěvníky. Cílem je zanalyzovat návštěvnost Filipín a najít důvody její změny. Primárně je pracováno s údaji o počtu návštěvníků v letech 2015–2019. Za tímto účelem byla využita komparace dat celosvětového i českého turismu, příjezdů na Filipíny a do Thajska a jejich meziročních přírůstků. Filipíny z tohoto šetření vychází jako zatím českými turisty málo navštěvovaná destinace s poměrně vysokým meziročním přírůstkem návštěv. Tento stav je velmi podobný pro celou Evropu, Filipíny jsou primárně destinací turistů z Asie. Hlavními problémy Filipín, které ovlivňují příjezdy českých turistů, jsou nedostatečná infrastruktura a bezpečnost. This thesis focuses on the tourism of Philippines with a special emphasis on the Czech visitors. The aim is to analyse the arrival numbers and find the causes behind the changes. It further focuses on the work with the number of visitors, primarily between years 2015 and 2019. The comparation the data of both global and Czech tourism, arrivals in Philippines and Thailand and its year-on-year increase were used. As a result of this comparison, it can be said that the Philippines are currently a country with small number of Czech visitors but high year-to-year growth in visits. This situation is very similar for the whole Europe as the Philippines are primarily a destination popular with Asian tourists. Philippines’ main tourism issues are insufficient infrastructure and safety.
