Diplomová práce se zabývá problémem binární klasifikace v rámci predikce bankrotu podniku. Cílem této práce je aplikovat vybrané metody na data finančního charakteru a následně vyhodnotit přesnost vypracovaných modelů pro predikci bankrotu. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na základní pojmy z oblasti finanční analýzy a dále pak na modely, které se pro predikci bankrotu dnes využívají. Praktická část vychází z dat 953 strojírenských společností z EU, které jsou zpracovány pomocí metod vícerozměrné statistiky, konkrétně se jedná o klasifikaci pomocí shlukové analýzy, rozhodovacích stromů a metody podpůrných vektorů. The diploma's thesis focuses on the problem of binary classification within the company bankruptcy prediction. The aim of the thesis is to apply selected methods on the financial data and consequently evaluate the accuracy of developed models for the predictability of bankruptcy. The theoretical part deals with the basic concept of financial analysis and also models which are used for the bankruptcy prediction nowadays. The practical part comes from the data of 953 engineering companies based in the EU. The data are elaborated by methods of multidimensional statistics, namely the classification using cluster analysis, decision trees and support vectors machines.
