Předmětem předkládané diplomové práce je ověření kvality povrchové úpravy dětských postýlek, přičemž práce navazuje na bakalářskou práci. Literární část se zabývá teoretickými východisky k řešení daného problému. V první části je krátce zmapován vývoj dětí, dále navazuje přehled o lůžkovém nábytku pro děti, společně s legislativními požadavky. Následně se teoretická část zabývá problematikou dokončení zvoleného typu nábytku tekutými nátěrovými hmotami. Nedílnou součástí práce je rovněž analýza sortimentu dětský postýlek dostupných na českém trhu. Jako podkladový materiál byla zvolena borová, buková a MDF deska. Tyto podkladové materiály byly následně dokončeny zvolenými pigmentovými nátěrovými systémy (vodou ředitelná akrylátová, vodou ředitelná akryl-polyuretanová a olejovo-vosková nátěrová hmota) v bílém odstínu. Dokončené zkušební vzorky byly podrobeny ověřovacím zkouškám, které byly vybrány s ohledem na možné namáhání dětské postýlky. Vyjma vzhledových vlastností byly tedy hodnoceny i fyzikálně-mechanické a chemické odolnosti dokončených povrchů zkušebních vzorků. Provedené zkoušky vychází z příslušných norem a předpisů. Pro porovnání kvality povrchové úpravy (transparentními i pigmentovými nátěrovými hmotami) byly použity i výsledky z bakalářské práce. The subject of this thesis is to examine quality of surface treatment of children’s cribs. This diploma thesis follows the bachelor’s thesis. The literary part analyses theoretical resources to solve given problem. The first section shortly describes the development of children, follows overview of beds for children together with legislative requirements. Afterwards, the theoretical section deals with finishing of chosen type of furniture with fluid coating materials. Essential component of this thesis is also the analysis of range of children’s cribs available on the Czech market. As base materials were chosen pine board, beech board, and medium-density fibreboard. Those base materials were treated with selected pigmented coating materials (water-dilutable acrylic coating material, water-dilutable acrylic polyurethane coating material and oil-wax coating material) in white shade. The finished samples were subjected to verification tests, which were chosen in consideration of possible stresses caused to children’s cribs. Besides visual properties, physico-mechanical and chemical durability of finished sample surfaces were also tested. Executed tests were based on respective norms and regulations. The results from the bachelor’s thesis were also used to compare the quality of surface treatment (transparent and pigmented coating materials.
