Práce se zabývá energetickým výrobním sektorem v zemích Evropské unie. Cílem práce je získání odhadů produkčních funkcí sektoru výroby elektřiny (NACE kód D, sektor 35.11) pro vybrané země. Země jsou vybrány na základě výsledků shlukové analýzy, která pracuje s podíly energetických zdrojů na výrobě elektřiny. Teoretická část práce vymezuje základní pojmy z oblasti energetického sektoru, společné energetické politiky Evropské unie a produkčních funkcí. Empirická část zachycuje shlukovou a produkční analýzu. Při odhadu parametrů produkčních funkcí je využita Cobbova-Douglasova funkční forma v nelineární i lineární podobě. Výsledné modely produkčních funkcí jsou komparovány a interpretovány s ohledem na odlišnosti v přístupu zemí k obnovitelným a neobnovitelným zdrojům energie. The thesis deals with the energy production sector in the countries of the European Union. The aim of the thesis is to obtain estimates of the production function of the electricity generation sector (NACE code D, sector 35.11) for selected countries. The countries are selected on the basis of the results of a cluster analysis, which uses the shares of energy sources in electricity production. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts of the energy sector, the common energy policy of the European Union and production functions. The empirical part captures the cluster and production analysis. To estimate the parameters of the production function, the Cobb-Douglas function in nonlinear and linear form is used. The resulting models of production functions are further compared and interpreted with respect to different approaches of countries to renewable and non-renewable energy sources.
