Bakalářská práce se zabývá hodnocením kvality života ve městě Olomouc. Teoretická část zahrnuje informace z odborné literatury týkající se této problematiky. Jsou zde uvedeny základní pojmy, historické pojetí, či způsoby měření, které s kvalitou života souvisí. Následující kapitola představuje město Olomouc a zároveň se věnuje oblastem jako je občanská vybavenost, doprava či životní prostředí. V rámci vlastní práce byl proveden sociologický výzkum. Výsledky dotazníkového šetření poukazují na spokojenost obyvatel v oblasti bezpečnosti, zdravotnictví, školství, sportu, kulturního vyžití a v oblasti životního prostředí. Problematickou oblastí je doprava, zejména nedostatečné množství parkovacích míst. V závěru práce jsou pro vedení města navržena doporučení, která by vedla ke zvýšení kvality života obyvatel Olomouce. This bachelor thesis deals with evaluation of quality of life in the city of Olomouc. The theoretical part includes knowledge from the literature on this concept. It includes also the basic concepts, historical concepts or methods of measurement that are related to the quality of life. Another chapter presents the city of Olomouc, while exploring areas of civic amenities, transport or the environment. In the practical part, sociological research was carried out. The results of the questionnaire survey point to the satisfaction of the population in terms of safety, health, education, sport, culture and the environment. The problem area is the transport associated with an insufficient number of parking places. In the final part there are suggested recommendations for city management, which would lead to the improvement of the quality of life of the inhabitants of Olomouc.
