Tato diplomová práce se zabývá mezigeneračním transferem hodnot a statusu z rodičů na jejich děti. Klíčovým aspektem je přenos kulturního kapitálu, který následně slouží jako vzor pro chování dětí a formuje jejich hodnoty a postoje do budoucnosti. Rodiče mají značný vliv na vývoj dítěte po fyzické stránce, ale také po stránce mentální. Tím ovlivňují jejich život a jejich životní vyhlídky. Právě síla přenosu a míra vlivu rodičů na jejich děti je hlavní otázkou, na kterou se tato diplomová práce snaží odpovědět. S mezigeneračním transferem souvisí v širším kontextu i další pojmy jako sociální stratifikace či sociální mobilita. Teoretická část zahrnuje rozpracované všechny pojmy související s mezigeneračním transferem a také nastíněné významné teorie v rámci nich. Praktická část obsahuje výzkum mezigeneračního transferu v rámci zemí Česka, Slovenska a Rakouska z let 2002, 2010 a 2018 prostřednictvím sekundární analýzy dat, zkoumanou oblastí je přenos kulturního kapitálu a ekonomického statusu. This diploma thesis deals with the intergenerational transfer of values ??and status from parents to their children. A key aspect is the transfer of cultural capital, which subsequently serves as a model for children's behavior and shapes their values ??and attitudes for the future. Parents have a significant influence on the children's development - both physically and mentally. This influence affects their lives and their life prospects. It is the power of transmission and the degree of influence of parents on their children which are the main question that this thesis seeks to answer. In a broader context - other concepts such as social stratification or social mobility are also related to intergenerational transfer. The theoretical part includes elaborated concepts all related to intergenerational transfer and also outlined important theories within them. The practical part contains research on intergenerational transfer within the countries of the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Austria from 2002, 2010, and 2018 through secondary data analysis - the researched area is the transfer of cultural capital and economic status.
