Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou dědičného ortopedického onemocnění u psů, které se nazývá dysplazie kyčelního kloubu (DKK). První kapitola je věnována charakteristice onemocnění zahrnující popis kyčelního kloubu, výskyt, příčiny vzniku, příznaky, diagnostiku, léčbu a různé systémy hodnocení kyčelního kloubu. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na genetickou predispozici tohoto onemocnění. Popisuje potenciální kandidátní geny přispívající ke vzniku onemocnění a zaměřuje se na určování heritability dysplazie kyčelního kloubu u různých plemen psů. Dále uvádí šlechtitelské programy zaměřené na snižování výskytu onemocnění. Součástí práce je také analýza rodokmenových dat zahrnující výpočet koeficientu heritability u plemene zlatý retriever. Pomocí dvou statistických metod byly odhadnuty koeficienty heritability pro DKK h2 = 0,26 a 0,28. This bachelor thesis deals with hereditary orthopedic disease in dogs called canine hip dysplasia (CHD). The first chapter focuses on the characteristics of the disease, including a description of the hip joint, occurrence, causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and various evaluation systems for hip joint. The second chapter focuses on the genetic predisposition of this disease. This chapter describes potential candidate genes that cause disease and focuses on determining heritability of hip dysplasia in different breeds. It describes various breeding programs that are reducing the occurrence of this disease. Part of the bachelor thesis is the analysis of pedigree data including an estimate of heritability in the golden retriever. Using two statistical methods, the heritability coefficients for CHD h2 = 0.26 and 0.28 were estimated.
