Cílem práce bylo navrhnout, jak obnovovat porosty Demonstračního objektu převodu lesa vysokého na les nízký na ŠLP ML Křtiny. Dílčím úkolem bylo charakterizovat zkoumané území z pohledu řešené problematiky a zhodnotit současný zdravotní stav porostů a jak by na ně působila globální klimatická změna. Terénní data byla sbírána pro každou porostní vrstvu zvlášť. S pomocí dostupné literatury byl vybrány, popř. vytvořeny nejvhodnější způsoby vyhodnocení terénních dat. Z výsledků vyplývá, že porosty 3. a starší věkové třídy nejčastěji vykazují zdravotní stav průměrný – trpí přísušky a podkorním hmyzem na větší části své plochy. Ve většině řešených porostů se nachází střední a spodní vrstva složená z cílových dřevin nízkého lesa. V práci prezentuji mapy naléhavosti převodu jednotlivých porostů a návrhy hospodářských opatření pro podporu produkčních a mimoprodukčních funkcí lesa. The aim of this thesis was to suggest how to renew the stands of The Demonstration Area of Transformation from High Forest into Coppice Forest in TFE Křtiny. A part of the task was to characterize the surveyed territory. Afterwards, I evaluated current health conditions of stands and how they would get effected by the global climate change. Field data were collected for each storey. The best ways to evaluate data were chosen or created using the related literature. The results show that the stands in the third or higher age class are mostly of average health – they suffer from drought and bark beetle infestation in most parts of the area where they occur. Furthermore, I present maps of the urgency of the stands’ transformation. I also propose managerial measurements that would improve both production and non-production functions of the forest.
