MRŇKA, T: Brno – zelené město. Diplomová práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita, 2018 Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na soutěž Evropské zelené město a klade si za cíl posoudit, zda Statutární město Brno splňuje požadavky v oblasti životního prostředí a kvality života ve městě pro účast v této soutěži. Metodika práce je založena na rozboru dvanácti environmentálních a sociálních indikátorů. Výsledky praktické části dospěly k bilanci šesti naplněných ukazatelů a šesti indikátorů s jistými nedostatky. Nejvíce problematická je automobilová doprava, která ovlivňuje tři sledované proměnné – místní dopravu, kvalitu ovzduší a úroveň hlukového znečištění. Návrhová část práce doporučuje dostavbu Velkého městského okruhu, zkvalitnění cyklodopravy, uskutečnění měření emisí CO2 na území města, dosáhnout 100 % napojení obyvatel na kanalizační síť města a zavést Zero Waste Strategii. MRŇKA, T: Brno – green city. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2018 This diploma thesis focuses on the European Green City Competition and aims to assess whether the Statutory City of Brno meets the environmental and quality of life requirements of the city for participation in this competition. The methodology of the thesis is based on the analysis of twelve environmental and social indicators. The results of the practical part reached the balance of six filled indicators and six indicators with certain shortcomings. The most problematic is car transport, which affects the three monitored variables - local traffic, air quality and noise pollution. The proposed part of the thesis recommends the completion of the Large City Circuit, the improvement of the cycle route system, the implementation of CO2 emissions measurements in the city, the achievement of 100% connection of the population to the sewer network and the introduction of the Zero Waste Strategy.
