Cílem diplomové práce bylo posoudit vhodnost pěstování vybraných bio odrůd mrkve seté (Daucus carota) ve vegetačním období roku 2021 a doporučení vhodné odrůdové skladby pro pěstování v klimatických podmínkách oblasti Marchfeld v Rakousku. Osivo osmnácti odrůd s různou délkou vegetační doby bylo hodnoceno na dvou stanovištích, Oberweiden a Fuchsenbigl. Tyto odrůdy byly následně porovnány navzájem mezi sebou. Sledovanými znaky byl počet rostlin na m2, počet a váha prodejných kusů na m2, celková váha na m2, průměr kořene (mm), lámavost (ks), obsah sacharidů (mg/kg), celko-vý počet plných beden (ks), hmotnost jedné bedny (kg), množství neprodejných kusů, obsah dusičnanů (mg/kg) a celková hmotnost plných beden (kg). Dále bylo hodnoceno napadení škůdci a chorobami. Obě lokality se vyskytovaly v místech s celoročním srážkovým deficitem, z toho důvodu byla použita doplňková závlaha pro navození optimálních podmínek pro růst a vývoj porostu. Průměrná hmotnost u všech sklizených odrůd na stanovišti Oberweiden byla vyšší než na stanovišti Fuchsenbigl. Většině odrůd vyhovovaly více mírně vápnité půdy s vysokou propustností lokality Oberweiden. Majitel pozemku v této lokalitě se o porost více zajímal a flexibilně reagoval na klimatické podmínky upravenou zálivkou. The main aim of this diploma thesis was to describe the suitability of growing organic varieties of carrot (Daucus carota) in the season of 2021 and to recommend a suitable variety composition for growing in the climatic conditions of the Marchfeld region in Austria. This annual trial included eighteen varieties of carrot which were sown in two di-fferent locations, Oberweiden and Fuchsenbigl. Subsequently was evaluated the number of plants per 1 m2, the number of sales units per m2, the sales weight per m2, total weight per m2, the diameter (mm), fragility (pcs), sugar content (mg/kg), total number of full bo-xes (pcs), weight of one full box (kg), number of unsaleable pieces, nitrate content (mg/kg) and total weight of full boxes (kg). Pests and diease infections were also evalu-ated. Both localities occurred in places with a year-round precipitation deficit, therefore additional irrigation was used to create optimal conditions for growth and development of the trial. The average weight of all harvested varieties at Oberweiden was higher than at Fuchsenbigl. For most varieties, more slightly calcareous soils with high permeability of the Oberweiden locality are suitable. The owner of this field was more interested about this trial and modified watering as respond to the climatic conditions more flexible.
