Praktická část obsahuje aplikaci konkrétních dat z databáze účtovacích výkazů Albertina a z veřejné databáze Českého statistického úřadu. Cílem je ověřit hypotézu teorie regionální segmentace finančních trhů, podle které dochází k vyloučení malých podnikatelských subjektů v periferních oblastechThis thesis focuses on the capital structure of companies, which is significantly influenced by their regional affiliation. The theoretical part concentrates on the description of the structure of capital construction and the characteristics of the theories of optimal capital structure, which main focus lies on the theoretical background of the theory of hierarchical order. A separate chapter is devoted to the theory of regional financial market segmentation. The practical part contains the application of specific data from the database of Albertina financial statements and from the public database of the Czech Statistical Office. The aim is to verify the hypothesis of the theory of regional segmentation of financial markets, according to which there is an exclusion of small businesses in peripheral areas from credit processes.
