Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou regionálních potravin na trhu České republiky se zaměřením na konkrétní specifikovanou místní lokalitu v městské části Brno-střed. Cílem práce je zhodnocení postavení regionálních potravin v gastronomických zařízeních v konkrétní lokalitě města Brna. V práci jsou definovány pojmy relevantní k této problematice, po jejichž vymezení proběhl sociologický průzkum názorů respondentů z řad majitelů/provozovatelů gastronomických zařízení a dodavatelů. Za účelem sběru dat byla zvolena metoda dotazníkového šetření a následných polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Poté byla tato data autorem vyhodnocena a zjištěné výsledky využity k doporučením vedoucím k dalšímu růstu na trhu s regionálními po-travinami. The thesis deals with the issue of regional food products in the Czech market, with special focus on the specific Brno area in the city center. The objective of the thesis consists in assessing the significance of regional food products in the restaurant and catering business in a particular Brno area. After defining the concepts and terms relevant to the topic, the thesis brings a sociological survey based on the responses from restaurants and catering services owners and/or runners and suppliers. The data collected by means of a questionnaire followed by semi-structured interviews have been evaluated by the author of the thesis and the results used as a recommendation leading to enhancing the position of the regional food products in the market.
