Bachelor thesis focuses on the position of potatoes in the Belarusian and world market. The main objective is to characterize the development, changes and perspectives of potato growing in Belarus. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the basic definitions of agricultural market and its models, explains its specifics and types and gives an overview on the main international institutions of the agricultural market. The analytical part summarizes the tendencies of the potato production in Belarus which are then compared with the world biggest potato producing countries. It continues with the development and comparison of potato prices and the changes in foreign trade with potatoes in Belarus and in the world. Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na pozici brambor na běloruském a světovém trhu. Hlavním cílem je charakterizovat vývoj, změny a perspektivy pěstování brambor v Bělorusku. Teoretická část práce se zabývá základními pojmy zemědělského trhu a jeho modelů, vysvětluje jeho specifika a typy, poskytuje přehled o hlavních mezinárodních institucích zemědělského trhu. Analytická část shrnuje tendence produkce brambor v Bělorusku, které jsou poté porovnány s největšími producenty brambor. Pokračuje ve srovnávání cen brambor a ve vývoji zahraničního obchodu s bramborami v Bělorusku a ve světě.
