This work is focused on migration processes between Russian Federation and another CIS countries. There will be the first part which focuses on the theoretical definition and review of migration. Then I will present the historical review of migration from the former Soviet Union republics to Russia after the breakup of USSR, and the general statistical review of migration. Practical part will contain a specific example of migration from selected CIS countries, an analysis will be made for discovering common and specific features between these countries. Tato práce se zaměřuje na migrační procesy mezi Ruskou Federací a jinými státy SNS. První část bude zaměřena na teoretickou definici migrace. Pak bude představen historický přehled migrace z bývalých republik Sovětského Svazu do Ruska po rozpadu SSSR a obecné statistické hodnocení migrace. Praktická část bude obsahovat konkrétní příklad migrace z vybraných zemí SNS, bude provedena analýza zjišťování společných a specifických rysů mezi těmito zeměmi.
