Indonésie a Malajsie, zakládající členové organizace ASEAN, patří mezi země s nejvíce rostoucí ekonomikou a vlivem nejen v rámci regionu, ale také v mezinárodním prostředí. Tato práce proto porovnává přístupy české zahraniční politiky vůči zmíněné Indonésii a Malajsii v období od roku 2010 do 2020. K analýze české zahraniční politiky vůči oběma zemím byla použita metoda Foreign Policy Analysis (FPA). V první části se práce zabývá teoretickými koncepty zahraniční politiky, především je poté pozornost věnována české zahraniční politice, respektive tzv. Koncepcím zahraniční politiky. V rámci analýzy reálných výstupů je česká zahraniční politika zkoumána na úrovni mezinárodní, státní a individuální. Následně byly porovnány rovněž písemně deklarované vstupy od Ministerstva zahraničních věcí ČR a Asociace pro mezinárodní otázky o české zahraniční politice ve spojitosti s Indonésií a Malajsií, popřípadě regionem Asie. Z výsledných zjištění vyplývá, že obě země jsou významným partnerem České republiky, především však v obchodních vztazích. Indonésie je pak dle zjištění v dokumentech české zahraniční politiky diskutovanější, než je tomu v případě Malajsie, a je považována za výraznějšího partnera z důvodu jejího aktivního působení veřejné diplomacie. As founding states of ASEAN, Indonesia and Malaysia are among the states with the highest economic growth and influence, be it region-wise or in the world. Therefore, this thesis compares approaches of Czech foreign policy towards Indonesia and Malaysia in the period of 2010–2020. And hence, Foreign Policy Analysis was used in respect of research methods. The first section of the thesis focused on the theoretical concepts of foreign policy whilst an emphasis was put on Czech foreign policy and its respective Conceptions. The actual outputs of Czech foreign policy were examined at the international, state, and individual level. Subsequently, official documents with its declared inputs from the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Association for International Affairs were analysed and compared in relation to Indonesia and Malaysia, or the Asian region. According to the findings, both states are germane partners with the Czech Republic, especially in mutual trade relations. Indonesia, however, has been discussed more frequently than Malaysia as the former has been perceived as a more distinctive partner due to its active public diplomacy.
