Tato práce se věnuje vlivu, jenž měl Soudní dvůr Evropské unie při formování Evropské integrace. Jeho role je nezastupitelná a vznik se datuje k samotnému začátku Evropské integrace. Úkolem této instituce Evropské unie je dohlížení na dodržování práva Evropské unie členskými státy a stejně tak jejích institucí. Soudní dvůr Evropské unie se skládá ze Soudního dvora, Tribunálu a dalších specializovaných soudů. Soudní dvůr v čase několikrát zašel za hranice svých pravomocí, a díky tomu dal za vznik několika principům. Tyto principy se ukázaly být v 70. a 80. letech důležité pro formování Evropské integrace. Soudní dvůr se však netěší pouze pozitivním ohlasům. V čase můžeme pozorovat i vlny kritik, které se na tuto instituci sypaly. Především pak pro údajný Soudní aktivismus a posilování svých pravomocí. This work is devoted to the influence that the Court of Justice of the European Union has had in shaping European integration. Its role is indispensable and it dates back to the very beginning of European integration. The task of this institution of the European Union is to monitor compliance by the Member States with the law of the European Union, as well as its institutions. The Court of Justice of the European Union shall consist of the Court of Justice, General Court and other specialised courts. The Court has gone beyond its powers several times over time, giving rise to several principles. These principles proved important in the 1970 s and 1980 s for shaping European integration. However, the Court does not only enjoy positive feedback. In time, we can also see waves of criticism pouring down on the institution. Mainly for alleged judicial activism and strengthening of its powers.
