This bachelor thesis describes the contribution of women’s rights NGOs to the development of women’s right in the Middle East. It informs about the historical development of women’s organizations and it describes what role do the women’s rights organization play in the women’s empowerment in the Middle East. It explains the emergence of the women’s organization in selected Middle Eastern countries and compares their current situation. This bachelor thesis also describes obstacles women’s organizations face during their effort to reduce gender inequality and to improve women’s position and their rights. It describes achievements and failures made by women’s organizations, and it gives examples of concrete organizations working in the area. Tato bakalářská práce popisuje přínos neziskových organizací na práva na vývoj žensých práv na Středním Východě. Informuje o historickém vývoji ženských organizací a popisuje jakou roli ženské organizaci sehrávají v rámci posílení žen na Středním Východě. Popusuje vývoj ženských organizací ve vybraných Středovýchodních státech a popisuje jejich současnou situaci, a tím je i porovnává. Tato bakalářská práce dale popisuje překážky, kterým ženské organizace čelí v jejich snaze zmírnit genderovou nerovnost a vylepšit ženské postavení a jejich práva. Popisuje úspěchy a neúspěchy ženských organizací a udává příklady konkrétních organizací, které v oblasti působí.
