Při zmínění středního věku si většina jedinců toto období okamžitě spojí s pověstným termínem: ,,krize středního věku." Zvětšiny je tato životní fáze spojována s psychologickou krizí, jež se děje na bázi akceptace nezvratnosti krátícího se času, přijetí procesu stárnutí a podobně. Zabývají li se odborníci tímto konceptem, zaobírají se především negativními aspekty, díky kterým je tato životní etapa tak proslulá. V této diplomové práci pohlížím na střední věk z protikladného úhlu. Aspiruji o nalezení pozitivních aspektů stádia středního věku. Zaměřuji se především na afektivní komponenty reflektující průběžné hodnocení nálad a emocí jedince. Tato diplomová práce nahlíží na střední věk z pohledu emočního prožívání a jejím cílem je zjistit, co je zdrojem pozitivních emocí u jedinců v období střední dospělosti. Teoretická část práce vychází z odborné literatury a zabývá se základními poznatky o emocích, definicí středního věku a jeho psychologií a v neposlední řadě krizí středního věku a jejím emočním prožíváním. Praktická část je koncipována jako kvalitativní výzkumné šetření. Data k analýze byla obdržena a zpracována se souhlasem hlavní řešitelky doc. PhDr. Bc. Ivy Poláčkové Šolcové, Ph.D., která se ve výzkumu zabývá krizí, prožíváním a růstem ve středním věku. Klíčová slova Střední věk, pozitivní, dospělost,... When middle age is mentioned, most individuals immediately associate this period with the proverbial term: ,,midlife crisis." Mostly, this life phase is associated with a psychological crisis, which happens on the basis of acceptance of the irreversibility of the shortening of time, acceptance of the aging process, and the like. When experts deal with this concept, they mainly deal with the negative aspects that make this stage of life so famous. In this thesis, I look at middle age from the opposite angle. I aspire to find the positive aspects of middle age. I focus primarily on affective components reflecting the ongoing evaluation of an individual's moods and emotions. This diploma thesis looks at middle age from the point of view of emotional experience and its goal is to find out what is the most common source of positive emotions in individuals in the period of middle adulthood. The theoretical part of the thesis is based on professional literature and deals with basic knowledge about emotions, the definition of middle age and its psychology, and last but not least, the crisis of middle age and its emotional experience.
