Fylogeografie hlubokomořských ryb je málo prozkoumaná, a to převážně kvůli extrémním podmínkám, ve kterých tyto živočichové žijí, a obtížné logistice sběru vzorků pro jejich výzkum. Cílem této práce je shrnout informace o fylogeografii hlubokomořských ryb, identifikovat faktory ovlivňující rozšíření populací a porovnat situaci napříč fylogenezí paprskoploutvých ryb. Rozšíření/oddělení jednotlivých populací hlubokomořských ryb je ovlivněno fyzikálními, topografickými a hydrografickými faktory. Jejich propojení je způsobeno migračními schopnostmi ryb a využitím mořských proudů pro jejich disperzi. Naprostá většina hlubokomořských ryb podstupuje nějakou formu migrace, minimálně během ontogenetického vývoje. Migrace může být vertikální nebo horizontální a nejčastější je diurnální vertikální migrace, kdy se ryby pravidelně v noci přesouvají do nižších hloubek kvůli potravě. Pro výzkum fylogeografie se využívají molekulární metody, převážně markery mitochondriální DNA, za účelem vytvoření či rekonstrukce fylogenetického stromu druhů. Výsledky naznačují, že topografie mořského dna je jen v malém množství případů bariérou pro tok genetické informace. Dále výsledky často vyvrací hypotézu o izolaci způsobené vzdáleností mezi populacemi, protože hlubokomořské ryby často vykazují poměrně vysokou míru panmixie.... Phylogeography of deep-sea fish remains poorly explored, largely due to the extreme conditions in which these organisms live and limited technological capabilities for researching these species. The aim of this thesis is to summarize the information known about the phylogeography of deep-sea fish, identify factors influencing population distributions, and connect them on a global scale. The distribution of deep-sea fish populations is influenced by physical, topographic, and hydrographic factors. Their connectivity is driven by the migratory abilities of fish and the utilization of marine currents for their dispersion. Migration is divided into vertical and horizontal. The vast majority of deep sea fish undergo some form of migration, at least during ontogenetic development. The most common is diurnal vertical migration, where fish regularly move to shallower depths at night for feeding. Molecular methods, mainly mitochondrial DNA markers, were used for research to determine the phylogenetic tree of species. The results suggest that the topography of the seafloor is rarely a barrier to the flow of genetic information.
