[cze][eng] Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo charakterizovat, co je aktivizační činnost a jaká je její náplň v konkrétním domově pro seniory. Pro naplnění požadovaného cíle byla použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie. Byla využita metoda dotazování formou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Účastníci výzkumu byli vybráni na základě prostého záměrného výběru. Kritéria pro výběr komunikačních partnerů byla již předem stanovena. K vyhodnocení získaných dat byla použita metoda otevřeného kódování. Teoretická část definuje pojmy senior, stárnutí a stáří. Dále se zabývá seniory s demencí a seniory se zdravotním postižením a určitými změnami ve stáří. Jsou zmíněna pobytová zařízení pro seniory a jejich právní a etické aspekty. Navazuje vysvětlení obecných zásad aktivizace, role aktivizačních činností v domovech pro seniory a charakterizování, jaké jsou aktivizační metody a techniky při práci v domově pro seniory. Výzkumná otázka se zabývá tím, jaké aktivizační činnosti se podnikají v konkrétním domově pro seniory. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že je v domově pro seniory různorodé množství konaných a využívaných aktivit. Mezi nejčastější a nejoblíbenější lze zařadit sportovní a pohybové aktivity, trénování paměti, muzikoterapii či canisterapii. Výzkum ukázal, že jsou aktivizační činnosti pro seniory přínosné. Aktivity podporují fyzické, sociální a duševní zdraví, pomáhají udržovat jejich schopnosti a dovednosti, zlepšují náladu a posilují sociální vazby, což snižuje riziko sociálního vyloučení, pocitu osamělosti či izolace. Aktivizační činnosti zlepšují kvalitu života seniorů. Tento výzkum může přispět jako zpětná vazba pro sociální pracovníky vybraného domova při práci se seniory a také jej lze využít jako informační materiál pro veřejnost.The aim of this bachelor thesis was to characterize what is activation activity and what is its content in a specific home for the Elderly. A qualitative research strategy was used to meet the desired objective. The method of interviewing in the form of a semi-structured interview was used. The research participants were selected on the basis of simple purposive sampling. The criteria for the selection of communication partners were predetermined. The open coding method was used to evaluate the collected data. The theoretical part defines the concepts of senior, aging and old age. It also deals with seniors with dementia and seniors with disabilities and certain changes in old age. Residential facilities for the elderly and their legal and ethical aspects are mentioned. This is followed by an explanation of the general principles of activation, the role of activation activities in homes for the elderly and a characterisation of what activation methods and techniques are involved in working in a home for the Elderly. The research question deals with what kind of activation activities are undertaken in a particular home for the Elderly. The research revealed that there is a diverse range of activities taking place and being used in the retirement home. The most common and popular activities include sports and physical activities, memory training, music therapy, and canister therapy. Research has shown that activation activities are beneficial for the elderly. Activities promote physical, social and mental health, help maintain their abilities and skills, improve their mood and strengthen social bonds, which reduces the risk of social exclusion, feelings of loneliness or isolation. Activation activities improve the quality of life of older people. This research can contribute as feedback for the social workers of the selected home in their work with the elderly and can also be used as information material for the public.
