Abstract: The aim of this thesis was to study the diversity of tomentelloid fungi in the Czech Republic with a focus on the distribution and ecology of each taxon. The data were based on field collecting mainly during the years 2020-2023 and the revision of available herbarium material. The checklist of tomentelloid taxa recorded in the Czech Republic is provided. The maps of distribution in the Czech Republic were created for each tomentelloid taxon, and the ecology of each tomentelloid taxon is discussed based on field data. A dichotomic key for species identification based on morphological characters is included.
