This thesis deals with the complex mechatronic design of autonomic thermoelectric source of energy for aircraft application. The study of theoretical background and the state-of-the-art based on available sources are summarized at the beginning of this thesis. The numerical models of two commercially available MEMS thermoelectric modules are created and verified by datasheet values and experimental testing. According to the model-based design, the three prototypes are designed, manufactured and experimentally tested under real condition.
