Cílem práce bylo navržení rodinného bydlení s prvky romské kultury v Brně, v městské části Maloměřice a Obřany. Navržené objekty jsou na pozemku rozmístěny okolo hranice parcely, čímž se na prostranství mezi domy vytvořil volný prostor, který bude využit pro dětská hřiště. Samotný dům je řešen tak, aby vyhovoval zvykům a tradicím romského obyvatelstva, a to zejména z hlediska sociálního. U Romů jsou běžné velké rodiny, kdy i několik generací bydlí pospolu. Tomu je přizpůsobena dispozice. Centrem celého domu je velký obývací pokoj s kuchyňským koutem, kde je možnost společného vaření a prostor pro stolování. Na tyto společné prostory navazují tři bytové části, dvě z těchto částí mají soukromý vstup, takže můžou fungovat i jako samostatné bytové jednotky. V bytě v 1.NP je možnost bydlení pro 5 osob, v bytě v 2.NP pro 6 osob a v bytě, který prochází přes obě podlaží, může bydlet až 12 osob. Pro nosnou konstrukci je využito nadbytečných námořních kontejnerů, které výrazně ovlivňují tvar domu. Vysouvání jednotlivých kontejnerů vytváří poměrně rytmickou strukturu. Ve druhém podlaží je právě díky vysunutí jednoho kontejneru vytvořeno prosklené atrium, které se dá otevřít a propojit tak všechny místnosti, které jej obklopují. Fasáda je provedena ve dvou materiálech. V menší míře je použit dřevěný obklad. Dřevěné jsou také lišty propisující do fasády uspořádání kontejnerů. Převažujícím materiálem je vlnitý plech.
The aim was to design family housing with elements of Roma culture in Brno, in the city of Maloměřice and Obřany. The proposed buildings are arranged arend the property boundary of the plat, which the space between the houses created a space that will be used for playgrounds. The house itself is designed to suit the customs and traditions of the Roma population, especially socially. For Roma people are common for large families, where several generations lived together. This is adapter disposition. The center of the house is a large livingroom with kitchenette, where is the posibility of a common space for cooking and dining. These common are as linked to the three residential quarters, two of these part shave a priváte entrance, so they can operate as a separand welling unit. The apartment is in 1. GF posibility of living for 5 people in an apartment in 2. GF for 6 people in the apartment, which passes through both floors, can live up to 12 people. For the supporting structure is used surplus shipping containers, which significantly affect the shape of the house. Ejecting individual containers create quite rhythmic structure. The second floor is down to eject one container formed glass atrium, which can be opened and connected to all the rooms that surround it. The facade – exteriér is made of two materials. To a lesser extent, is used wooden siding. The predominant material is corrugated iron.
