Abstract: A new methodology for the synthesis of ANPs containing 9-[2-(phosphonoethoxy)ethyl] (PEE) moiety has been developed. FPEP compound containing guanine moiety exhibited inhibition activity against the enzyme in micromolar range without any signs of toxicity.
