Ačkoliv přítomnost srůstů v břišní dutině a jejich symptomatika obtěžuje řadu pacientů, není zatím tato problematika ve všech svých aspektech zcela probádána a prevence a terapie srůstů stále představuje značný problém. Tato práce mapuje dosavadní poznatky o srůstech v břišní dutině a manuální techniky sloužící k jejich terapii. V práci je rozebrán mechanismus vzniku srůstů, možnosti jejich diagnostiky, inervace srůstů a její vztah k chronické bolesti. Dále jsou popsány mechanické vlastnosti pojivových tkání a značná část práce je věnována samotným přístupům k manuální léčbě a prevenci srůstů. Práce obsahuje kazuistiku jednoho pacienta, u kterého byly prakticky provedeny vybrané terapeutické postupy popsané v teoretické části a na základě výstupního vyšetření, objektivizačního dotazníku a numerické škály bolesti byl hodnocen jejich vliv na stav pacienta. Klíčová slova Peritoneální srůsty, peritoneální adheze, hojení peritonea, mechanismus vzniků srůstů, manuální terapie srůstů Although the presence of peritoneal adhesions in abdominal cavity concerns a great number of patients, the topic is not sufficiently understood yet and the prevention of adhesion formation as well as the treatment of already developed adhesions represents a major issue. This thesis explores available literature on peritoneal adhesions and the possibilities of their manual treatment. This thesis describes the development of peritoneal adhesions, diagnostic options, innervation and its link to chronic pain caused by the adhesions. It also explores mechanical properties of soft tissues and a major part of the thesis considers the options of manual treatment and prevention of adhesions. The thesis also includes one case study of a patient in whom some of the described therapeutic techniques were performed and, based on a follow-up examination, objectifying questionnaire and painscale outcomes, their influence on the patient condition was assessed.
