Bakalářská práce má teoretický charakter a je rozdělena na dvě části. První se věnuje tématu krásy a ošklivosti a jejich proměnou v dějinách umění. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na historický koncept, který sleduje vývoj ženského ležícího aktu od dob renesance až po secesi u vybraných autorů (např. u Tiziana, Velázqueze, Rembrandta, Klimta aj.). The bachelor thesis has a theoretical character and is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the topic of beauty and ugliness and their transformation in the history of art. The second part of the thesis is focused on the historical concept, which follows the development of the female lying act from the Renaissance to the Art Nouveau for selected authors (e.g Titian, Velázquez, Rembrandt, Klimt, etc.).
