Bakalářská práce "Vincent Willem van Gogh a jeho kresba objevující se v dopise 520. psaném bratrovi Theodorusovi van Goghovi" se sestává ze dvou částí - teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část si klade za cíl přiblížit život a tvorbu významného malíře. Zabývá se kulturněhistorickým pozadím umělcovy tvorby. Zaměřuje se na korespondenci Vincenta a jeho bratra Thea, která často obsahovala drobné kresby dokládající tvorbu umělce a pro nás čtenáře přibližuje tak jeho výtvarné záměry a osvětluje skrytou osobní podstatu umělcovu. Praktická část je zaměřena na jednu konkrétní kresbu poslanou v dopise pod číslem 520. Tato drobná kresba se stala inspiračním zdrojem pro výtvarnou praktickou část, jejímž cílem bylo dále rozvíjet náměty z konkrétních dopisů v podobě perokresby nebo kresby. Na samém konci této kvalifikační práce se mohou v příloze čtenáři seznámit s obrazovým materiálem, na který je v textu vždy odkázáno. The Bachelor thesis is focused on the Vincent Willem van Gogh and his drawing that is described in the 520th letter adressed to Vincent van Gogh´s brother - Theodorus. The thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part aims to show and describe the life and work of well known painter. It deals with the cultural-historical background of the artist's work. The theoretical part is also focused on the correspondence of Vincent and his brother Theo. The correspondence also contained small drawings describing the artist´s work. For us readers, it brings a closer look into his artistic intentions and explains the hidden personal essence of the artist. The practical part is focused on one of the drawing sent in the letter under number 520. This small drawing has become a source of inspiration for the artistic - practical part. The aim of the practical part is to further develop the themes from the particular letters in form of pen-and-ink drawings or just drawings. The readers can find the quoted pictorial material in the appendix in the final part of the work.
