V červnu 2021 byl do pravidelného výzkumu Naše společnost jako každý rok zařazen blok otázek týkajících se zdravotnictví a zdravotní péče. Respondenti konkrétně vyjadřovali svou obecnou spokojenost se zdravotní péčí v České republice, dále hodnotili změnu kvality zdravotní péče za uplynulý rok a svůj současný zdravotní stav. Další sledovanou oblastí byly i postoje k poskytovaným informacím ze strany lékařů a zdravotnického personálu a k možnostem rozhodování o léčbě vlastní nemoci. Poslední srovnatelný výzkum na toto téma proběhl v prosinci 2019, tedy před vypuknutím pandemie COVID-19, což je třeba mít na paměti při srovnávání výsledků v čase. In June 2021 Public Opinion Research Centre included a block of questions connected to health care. Questions focused mainly on satisfaction with health care in the Czech Republic, evaluation of the quality of the health care in the last year and the amount of information provided by the doctors. Respondents evaluated their own health condition and possibilities to decide the ways of their medical treatment. The last comparable research on this topic was conducted in December 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic, which should be kept in mind when comparing results over time. With health care, 58% of citizens are satisfied, 10% are dissatisfied and 31% are neither satisfied nor dissatisfied. Under half (46%) of respondents believe that the quality of health care has remained the same over the past year, while 27% of respondents believe it has worsened and 22% believe it has improved.
