Abstract: The objective is to compare the efficiency of methods for the optimization of a flowshop scheduling. One of them is my proposed diploma heuristic method, second is Campbell-Dudek-Smith heuristic method. On a general flowshop situation, all jobs are processed on a various machines in the same order and all jobs are completely predefined. The paper determines both a sequence of the jobs and an allocation of constrained resources in order to minimize the overall completion time or the makespan.
