Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl provést hodnocení rozvinutosti a úspěšnosti venkovských obcí, spadající do správního obvodu obce s rozšířenou působností Hradec Králové. Práce bude zohledňovat vliv vnějších faktorů rozvoje na úspěšnost obcí, tj. především vliv velikost v podobě počtu obyvatel a vliv polohy v podobě vzdálenosti od města Hradec Králové. V duchu v současné době převládajících institucionálních směrů rozvoje, důrazu na vnitřní rozvojové potenciály a aktéry a tzv. bottom-up přístup v paradigmatu rozvoje venkova budou obce hodnoceny na základě ukazatelů vycházejících z těchto konceptů, pomocí kterých je možné hodnotit míru rozvinutosti, a tedy i úspěšnost venkovské obce. Výstupem hodnocení bude přehled jednotlivých obcí a to, jakým způsobem na jejich rozvoj působí poloha vůči centru a počet jejich obyvatel. Konečné určení úspěšných a ohrožených venkovských obcí bude porovnán za celé ORP Hradec Králové. Práce si neklade za cíl stanovit novou teorii přístupu ke studiu rozvoje venkovských obcí, ale prostřednictvím jednoho z mnoha přístupů hodnocení rozvinutosti venkovských obcí nastínit současný stav, jak se obcím ve správním obvodu daří, popřípadě jakým rozvojovým problémům musí čelit. Klíčová slova: venkov, venkovská obec, rozvoj venkova, úspěšnost, faktory rozvoje, faktory úspěšnosti The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the development and success of rural municipalities within the administrative district of the Hradec Králové municipality. The thesis will take into account the influence of external development factors on the success of the municipalities, i.e. the influence of size in the form of population and the influence of location in the form of distance from the city Hradec Králové. In the spirit of the currently prevailing institutional directions of development, the emphasis on internal development potentials and actors and the so-called bottom-up approach in the rural development paradigm, municipalities will be evaluated on the basis of indicators based on these concepts, which can be used to assess the level of development and therefore the success of a rural municipality. The output of the evaluation will be an overview of each village and how its location in relation to the centre and its population affect its development. The final determination of successful and threatened rural municipalities will be compared for the entire Hradec Králové ORP.
