[cze][eng] Diplomová práce s názvem Fenomén Karla Gotta v českém tisku v 60.-80. letech zkoumá mediální obraz Karla Gotta. Mediální obraz nejpopulárnějšího československého zpěváka je v práci konstruován na základě analýzy obsahů zveřejněných ve třech dobových tištěných periodikách během let 1959-1989. Teoretická část práce se soustředí na oblast kulturní politiky, zabývá se specifiky populární hudby v Československu a představuje osobnost Karla Gotta. Prostor je věnován také české tiskové produkci s důrazem na cenzurní praktiky. Cílem práce je sestavení mediálního obrazu Karla Gotta prostřednictvím metody kritické diskurzivní analýzy podle Normana Fairclougha. Analytická část zkoumá zmiňovanou metodou obsahy pojednávající o Karlu Gottovi, které byly publikovány v dobovém periodickém tisku, konkrétně v časopise Mladý svět, Vlasta, v Pionýrských novinách a v časopise Sedmička, potažmo Sedmička pionýrů. Cílem práce je mj. zjistit, zda a jakým způsobem byl skrze reprezentaci Karla Gotta v tisku podporován dominantní diskurz. Práce si stanovuje výzkumné otázky, přičemž soubor odpovědí na tři vedlejších výzkumné otázky pomáhá konstruovat odpověď na otázku hlavní. Výsledky výzkumu jsou pak prezentovány v diskuzi, která nastiňuje možné další směřování výzkumu, a také v závěru práce.This diploma thesis with the title The phenomenon of Karel Gott in Czech press during 1960s-1980s researches a media representation of Karel Gott. Media representation of the most popular singer of Czechoslovakia is in this thesis constructed based on the analysis of media contents of three contemporary printed serials during the years 1959-1989. The theoretical part of this thesis focuses on the area of cultural politics, it deals with specific attributes of popular music in Czechoslovakia and it also presents the identity of Karel Gott. This part of thesis also deals with the press production with focus on the censorship. The aim of this thesis is to compile the media representation of Karel Gott using the method of critical discourse analysis presented by Norman Fairclough. The analysis uses mentioned method to research contents regarding Karel Gott and published in contemporary printed media, such as the serial Mladý svět, Vlasta, Pionýrské noviny, Sedmička and also Sedmička pionýrů. The purpose of this research work is to find out if and in which ways was the media representation of Karel Gott helping to establish the dominant discourse.
