Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá překladem dvou kapitol z knihy Ein Leben ohne Müll: Mein Weg mit Zero Waste od německé autorky Olgy Wittové. Překlad si klade za cíl přiblížit českému příjemci problematiku nakládání s odpady a udržitelnější životní styl. Druhou částí práce je komentář k překladu. Obsahuje překladatelskou analýzu výchozího textu podle modelu Christiane Nordové, popis překladatelské metody, překladatelských problémů a posunů v překladu. This bachelor thesis deals with the translation of two chapters from the book Ein Leben ohne Müll: Mein Weg mit Zero Waste by a German author Olga Witt. The translation aims to introduce the recipient to the problems of waste management and a more sustainable lifestyle. The second part of the thesis is a commentary on the translation. It consists of translation analysis of the initial text based on the model of Christiane Nord, description of translation method, translation problems and shifts in the translation.
