Cílem metodiky je umožnit snadnou kvantifikaci vybraných charakteristik rybího integumentu, konkrétně množství sekrečních buněk v povrchové vrstvě pokožky, množství epidermálních melanoforů a schopnost hlenové vrstvy absorbovat UV záření. Aim of this method is make possible quantification of selected characteristics of fish integument, in the concrete quantity of secretion cells in surface layer of epidermis, quantity of epidermal melanophores and ability of mucous layer absorb UV radiation.
