Abstract: The presented thesis describes the security system design that monitors the motion of persons in a guarded area. It contains a central unit to which several wireless sensors are conected. The central unit collects data from sensors and in case of violation of the guarded area sends a message to the system user. The GSM/GPRS network is used for communication with the user.
