Bakalářská práce pojednává především o způsobu, kterým Hieronymus Bosch zobrazoval nahé figury ve svém uměleckém díle a dále se zaměřuje na jejich možné inspirační zdroje. V potaz jsou brány základní badatelské studie, které ve svém díle shrnul Dino Buzzati roku 1992. K popisu byla vybrána nejznámější díla větších rozměrů, jako jsou triptychy Zahrada pozemských rozkoší, Fůra sena a také polyptych Vize ze záhrobí. Kromě samotného rozboru uměleckých děl obsahuje práce také dobové záznamy o tvůrci, popis středověké společnosti a jejího pohledu na akt, a v neposlední řadě také historické okolnosti, jež umělcovu tvorbu ovlivnily. Nakonec je zmíněn odkaz, který Hieronymus Bosch předal svým následovníkům a způsob, kterým ho uchopili. The most famous research studies, which are mentioned by Dino Buzzati in his book from 1992, are taken into account as well. Bigger sized pieces of art were chosen for the description, for an example The Garden of Earthly Delights, The Haywain Triptych and Vision of the Hereafter. The thesis contains not only period records about the author, but also the description of the medieval society and its attitude towards naked figures. Last but not least, historical circumstances having affected the Artist's creation are also mentioned.
