Vhodnost hodnocení území z hlediska vhodnosti pro potřeby cestovního ruchu a rekreace patří k tradičním tématům české geografie. Obecně se problematika člení na určování přírodního potenciálu území pro cestovní ruch a určování kulturního či kulturně-historického potenciálu území pro cestovní ruch. Předkládaný příspěvek se zaměřuje právě na možnosti kvantitativního vyjádření kulturně-historického potenciálu území za využití modelování prostorových interakcí. Diskutovány jsou pozitiva, negativa a metodologické problémy navrhovaného přístupu. Za modelové území bylo zvolen Jihomoravský kraj. Suitability of an area for tourism and recreational needs belongs among traditional issues of the Czech geography. Generally this problem is divided into assessment of natural potential and assessment of cultural-historical potential of an area for tourism and recreation. This contribution is aimed at possibilities of quantitative expression of cultural-historical potential using spatial interaction models in the area of the South Moravia region.
