Abstract: This thesis was focused for the identification of suitable promoters for gene expression in Ixodes tick cell cultures using plasmids encoding fluorescent proteins. The tick actin, EF-1, and RpL4 promoters were tested. Fluorescent microscope and microplate reader demostrated the expression of fluorescent genes under the control of the studied promoters in tick cells.
