Rigorózní práce Testamenty a pozůstalostní inventáře pražských Židů do poloviny 19. století se zabývá problematikou testamentární praxe pražského židovského obyvatelstva. Přináší tak souhrn dosavadních poznatků vytěžených studiem židovských knih testamentů, které vznikly v průběhu let 1681-1850 v kanceláři královského Starého města pražského a které jsou v současnosti uloženy ve sbírce rukopisů Archivu hlavního města Prahy. Předkládaná práce představuje syntézu dílčích výsledků práce bakalářské a práce diplomové, zároveň však prezentuje další z dosud nezpracovaných písemností - hebrejsky psanou knihu testamentů z let 1773-1784 a knihu inventářů z let 1773-1783. Na teoretické úvodní kapitoly nastiňující historický kontext (základní mezníky dějin židů v českých zemích, poslední vůle v židovské tradici, židovská testamentární praxe, vývoj samosprávy pražských měst či otázky městského a dědického práva) navazuje blok praktického seznámení s pramennou matérií. Celkem sedm rukopisů je představeno po stránce formální i obsahové, sledováno je rovněž jazykové hledisko, typologie jednotlivých zápisů, stejně jako další aspekty. Součástí stati jsou ucelené přehledy jednotlivých zápisů. It recapitulates outcomes of the research of jewish books of testaments which arose from the office of the King's Prague Old Town during the period 1681-1850 and nowadays are doposited in the collection of manuscripts of Prague City Archives. The thesis incorporates partial studies presented during the previous university education - both undergraduate and graduate. Two of manuscripts that were not presented yet (the book of testaments from years 1773-1784 written in Hebrew and the book of inventories from years 1773-1783) are newly included into the research project. Theoretic section introducing mainly the historical context (for instance history of Jews in the Czech Lands; last wills in the Jewish tradition; Jewish testamentary practice in the Czech Lands; boroughs of Prague; legal regulations etc.) is followed by the practical section (presentation of concrete historical documents). All seven manuscripts are analysed both from formal and contentual points of view. Synoptic tables are attached at the very end of the paper.
