Abstract: The thesis reports comparison of soil seed bank with actual vegetation in alluvial sites of the upper stream of Lužnice river in respect to three biotopes. The study focuses on two different methods of soil seed bank investigation and aims to reveal the applicability of macrofossil analysis for palaeoecological records and its interpretation.
