Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou monitorování síťových tiskáren a multifunkčních zařízení v počítačové síti. Poskytuje přehled nad současnými nástroji pro management a sledování stavu zařízení od různých výrobců. Dále pak popisuje možnosti, kterými je možné stav a další informace o tiskárně získat. Na základě získaných znalostí o problematice týkající se sledování tiskových zařízení vznikl systém umožňující sledování chování síťových tiskáren v čase upozorňující na vznikající chyby. Vytvořený systém dále nabízí možnost správy skladových zásob a výpočet předpokládané spotřeby pro zvolené období. Implementovaný systém během testování prokázal schopnost správně analyzovat a interpretovat získané informace ze síťových tiskáren. This diploma thesis is focused on monitoring of networked printers and multifunction devices connected into the network. It provides an overview of the now available tools for management and monitoring the status of network printers from different manufacturers. Then it describes options with which the status and other information for the printer to receive can be checked. A new printers monitoring system was created using the acquiered knowledge about printers monitoring. The created system is able to manage printer supplies stored in local warehouse and calculate the estimated consumpstion for the selected period. During the tests, the implemented system demonstrated the ability to analyze and interpret the information obtained from network printers.
