Tato práce pojednává o rozporu mezi situací, která vývojem zdravotnictví, politického systému a změn prostředí měla zásadní vliv na tom, že se dnes dožíváme vyššího věku, než lidé na začátku námi zkoumaného období (od roku 1945). To v nás vzbuzuje pocit jistoty dlouhověkého života, rozpor však pramení v realitě, která tkví v perspektivě chronického života, což nás z běžného života velmi brzy vyřadí. I přes tuto skutečnost se řadě zemí podařilo vyšší věkové hranice dosáhnout, ale vysoký věk není odrazem lepšího zdraví, což vyjadřuje zásadní rozpor mezi očekáváním a skutečnou realitou, jedná se tak i zároveň o hlavní výzkumný problém této práce. Cílem práce bylo zjistit vývoj podmínek zdravého životního stylu v české společnosti, které tu byly mezi lety 1945 až 2016 z pohledu jednotlivce. Druhým cílem je reflexe vývoje zdravotního stavu společnosti jako celku v kontextu zdravotní politiky se zaměřením na etapy rozdělené na "desetiletky". V práci byla použita kombinace institucionální analýzy, veřejné politiky a vlastního biografického výzkumu se sedmi respondenty, s použitím morfologické analýzy a doplňkových otázek. Výzkum potvrdil zjištěné informace ze vstupní analýzy, tedy zhoršující se determinanty zdraví, přičemž u respondentů byl na vině zejména špatný životní styl (výživa, nedostatečný pohyb,... This dissertation deals with the contradiction between the situation, in which the development of healthcare, transformation of the political system and the changes in the environment, has had a major influence on the fact that we are now experiencing a higher age than people at the beginning of the period under review (since 1945). This gives us a sense of assurance of longevity, but the contradiction arises in reality, that lies in the perspective of chronic life, which eliminates us from the ordinary life very soon. Despite this fact, a number of countries have succeeded in achieving higher age limits, but a high age is not a reflection of better health, which reflects a main contradiction between expectations and reality, and it is the main research problem of this dissertaiton at the same time. The goal of this disertation was to find out the evolution of conditions of healthy lifestyle of individuals in the Czech society, between years 1945 and 2016. The second goal was to reflect the evolution of the health status of the whole society in the context of health policy focusing on stages divided into "decades".
